For those seeking more challenge, summit tours to Schoberriegel (2,208 m), Rinsennock (2,334 m), Königstuhl (2,336 m), or Eisenhut (2,441 m) – the highest peak in the region – offer rewarding climbs. If you prefer something more untouched, hike through the Weitental to the Kasersee, or across the Schafalm and Winkleralm into the wild and romantic valley of Turrach.

The Barbara Trail leads along historic paths through the region’s former mining area. Especially rewarding: the panoramic summit tour to St. Lorenzen, Carinthia’s highest parish village, or the gentle route through Swiss pine forests, passing the highest mountain farm in the region.
